Aftercare

Day of treatment

Kambo works on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual plane therefore, post session energy will vary from levels of high to exhaustion depending on what was cleared. Overall, after treatment it's important to trust and listen to your body to give it what it needs.

  • Give your body time to rest and recharge.

  • Do not drive if you feel weak or light headed.

  • Do not overly exert energy for 24 hours after treatment (Ex: Operating heavy machinery, demanding workouts, etc...)

  • Keep Hydrating! Along with water try, mineral water or coconut water which aid in restoring nutrients and electrolytes.

  • Get plenty of sleep.

3 days after treatment (Minimum)

Remember you just stirred up and cleared your system of massive toxins so it can be common to develop symptoms of a cold, be gentle with yourself and mindful of what you put into your body for as long as possible (3 days being the minimum).

  • Continue to observe the outlined pre-treatment diet of light organic, vegetable based, nutrient rich foods for as long as possible. Energetically dense foods such as dairy and meat are difficult to digest and we want to give your system a rest after treatment.

  • No alcohol or drugs for at least 3 days after your session.

  • Continue to Hydrate and get good rest.

Integration

As with the preparation the post integration process is just as important if not more so because this is where the work and surfaced insights are put into action. Many things are likely to come up therefore, listed below are some tools that could be helpful during this potent time of your process. 

​

  • Tune in. Take note of vibrational and physical shifts.

  • Journaling or voice memos are excellent tools for working through shifts.

  • Continue to be mindful with your consumption of certain foods, energies, media, people etc.

  • Develop patience with yourself and the journey.

  • Connect with community for support.

  • Integrate grounding techniques such as Earthing.

  • Cultivate a gratitude practice.

  • Carve out time and space for yourself to process your work with Kambo.

  • Continue to get good rest.
